Connect Convolink to Claude or ChatGPT

Bring Convolink into your AI workflow. Follow the steps below to make your first MCP connection.

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It provides a standard way for AI assistants to connect with external tools such as Convolink.

MCP server URL

This is the MCP server endpoint — paste it into your assistant during setup. It is not a page you open in your browser.

https://app.convolink.co.uk/mcp

Before you begin

You'll need a Convolink account and access to an assistant that supports custom MCP connections. Workspace administrators may need to enable this option.

Set up in five steps

  1. Choose your assistant

Open Claude or ChatGPT and find the settings for adding a custom app, connector or MCP integration. Availability and wording may vary by account.

  2. Add Convolink

Create a new connection. If prompted for a name, enter Convolink, then paste the MCP server URL shown above.

  3. Complete authentication

Follow the authentication instructions presented during setup and review any requested permissions.

  4. Check your connection

Confirm that Convolink appears among your available connections. Open a new conversation and enable the connection if required.

  5. Try your first prompt

    Once connected, ask your assistant:

“What can I do with the Convolink connection?”

Troubleshooting

Why can't I find the connection settings?

Check whether your account supports custom MCP connections and whether your workspace administrator allows them.

Why am I seeing ‘unauthorized’?

The MCP endpoint requires authentication. Opening the server URL directly in a browser may not establish a connection. Complete the authentication flow in your assistant.

Why isn't Convolink appearing in my chat?

Check that the connection is enabled, then try starting a new conversation.
