Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully. By creating an account or using Convolink you agree to be bound by them.
Last updated: 25 September 2026
1. About us and these terms
These terms are a contract between you and Convolink Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15385901, VAT number GB525301429, registered office: 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF) ("Convolink", "we"). They apply to the website convolink.co.uk and the Convolink application at app.convolink.co.uk (together, the "Service"). If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information. Keep your credentials confidential and tell us immediately at support@convolink.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised use.
3. Plans, fees and VAT
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, in pounds sterling. Prices include UK VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 20%). We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time from your account settings; the Service remains available until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except as set out below or required by law.
Consumers: if you are a consumer in the UK, you have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you ask us to begin providing the Service within that period, you will pay for the portion used before cancellation. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to the videos, transcripts and other material you upload ("Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display Content solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and consents — including from people who appear in your recordings — and for complying with our Acceptable Use Policy.
6. Data protection
We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data within Content on your behalf, the Data Processing Agreement forms part of these terms.
7. Our intellectual property
The Service, including software, design and trade marks, is owned by Convolink or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or resell it except as permitted by law.
8. Availability and support
We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime but the Service is provided "as is" and may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance. Business plans include a service level agreement on request.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, are unpaid for more than 14 days, or where required by law. You may export your Content for 30 days after termination, after which it is deleted in line with our retention schedule.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Subject to that, for business customers our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid by you in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of data (other than as required under data protection law). For consumers, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach or negligence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will give at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email or in-app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance; if you disagree, you may cancel.
12. Complaints and disputes
Please contact support@convolink.co.uk first — we aim to resolve complaints within 10 working days. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local courts.
